Delta’s vaccination policy proves effective

In the two weeks since Delta Air Lines announced that employees who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 would pay a $200 monthly health insurance surcharge, 20% of the airline’s unvaccinated workers have gotten their shots, said Henry Ting, Delta’s chief health officer. The surcharge was announced on Aug. 25 and will go into effect on Nov. 1.
