US airlines commemorate 20th anniversary of 9 11
US airlines and aviation professionals paused to reflect on the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, remembering lost colleagues, the unprecedented impact to aviation and what it took to return to the skies. Team members at American and United, the airlines that lost flight crews that day, are wearing commemorative pins all month and United held a memorial event at its training center in Denver.
