American Airlines sets deadline for employee vaccinations

American Airlines has set Nov. 24 as the deadline for employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19, or to receive a medical or religious exemption. “To be clear, if you fail to comply with the requirement, the result will be termination from the company,” the company stated in a letter to employees. JetBlue Airways, Alaska and Southwest Airlines have made similar announcements on vaccination requirements.
