Ohio city could get “Hollywoodland” riverfront destination

The Middletown City Council will decide whether to approve plans for a riverfront destination entertainment district and theme park called “Hollywoodland” in Middletown, Ohio, during its Oct. 21 meeting. Plans for the $1.3 billion development include an indoor amusement park, a water park, a family-oriented hotel, an indoor entertainment and concert venue, a boutique hotel, cafes, bars and restaurants.
