Industry shows appreciation for air traffic controllers

Today is International Day of the Air Traffic Controller and an opportunity to show appreciation for the 14,000 individuals who help to keep air travel safe. Each year, the National Air Traffic Controllers Association administers the Archie League Medal of Safety Award for extraordinary service to a controller team or individual, and pilots can contact the organization to nominate a recipient.
