Ski resorts face uphill struggle with climate change

Climate change is all too real for ski resorts, which have warmed up to the phenomenon with such measures as shortening seasons and ramping up snow-making. The world’s efforts to limit carbon emissions will determine the future of enterprises such as skiing, says Jordan Smith, co-author of a new study from Utah State University.
