US airlines honor veterans

US airlines commemorated Veterans Day with solemn reflections on servicemen and women’s contributions and sacrifices. Alaska Airlines arranged an honor flight for survivors of the USS Indianapolis; Hawaiian Airlines honored its military employees while also partnering with a veteran-founded nonprofit dedicated to restoring the land and waters of Pu’uloa (Pearl Harbor); Delta Air Lines hosted its 10th Veterans Appreciation Event this past week; and FedEx highlighted its partnership with Cigna in hiring veterans and supporting and retaining military employees.
