Anomaly created Expedia Group’s first Black Friday campaign, which suggests consumers buy travel experiences instead of things and promotes a 30% worldwide hotel discount via the travel site and sister brands Hotels.com and Vrbo. One 15-second TV spot zooms in on a TV screen displaying a beach as a voice-over asks, “This Black Friday do you want a TV? Or do you want … the place on the TV?”
