Work underway on Legoland Shanghai Resort in China

A groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday marked the start of construction on the new Legoland Shanghai Resort in China. Slated to open in 2024, the 318,000-square-meter resort will house a themed hotel, commercial facilities and a theme park with rides and attractions across eight themed areas, which include a “Monkie Kid” zone.
