Hotels hire out idle rooms as workspace

Renting rooms for remote office workspace is boosting revenues for a growing number of hotels as the lingering pandemic slows the rise of occupancy. “We’re having a lot more work-related services simply because people moved from urban to suburban locations during the pandemic and need an office,” says Yannis Moati, CEO of the Hotels by Day booking service.
