Loyalty club members can access their rooms at six Hyatts via Apple Wallet-based room keys on iPhones and Apple Watches, a first for the hospitality industry. Hyatt’s Julia Vander Ploeg says digital keys respond to consumer demand for “access to be near-instantaneous.”
