Las Vegas’ Mirage sold to Hard Rock, which plans hotel

MGM Resorts International is selling the Mirage Hotel & Casino to Hard Rock International for $1.08 billion, returning the Seminole-owned Florida chain to the Las Vegas Strip after an absence of several years. The new owner plans a guitar-shaped hotel and will pay rent to MGM Growth Properties, a real estate investment trust that owns the Mirage property.
