American Airlines sets aggressive 2022 hiring goals

American Airlines plans to hire 18,000 people in 2022, CEO Doug Parker said. “[I]nstead of building back from collapse, we’re growing to provide more promising careers in good-paying jobs to hard-working individuals who are the lifeblood of our nation’s economy,” Parker said in a written testimony for today’s Senate Commerce and Transportation Committee hearing.
