Alaska Airlines sponsors program to train Black pilots

Alaska Airlines’ True North Pilot Pathway Program, which aims to recruit more Black pilots, has named the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State University as its first partner institutions. Students at the historically Black universities will have access to mentoring opportunities and financial aid to pay for the cost of pilot training.
