Southwest features partnership with human trafficking recovery nonprofit

In observation of Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Southwest Airlines shared about its partnership with Rethreaded, a Florida-based nonprofit that provides career opportunities to women who have experienced exploitation and trauma resulting from human trafficking. Through Rethreaded, one of the airline’s Repurpose with Purpose partners, women begin with a three-month development program and later become fully integrated into one of the business’ five departments to upcycle Southwest leather from seat covers.
