Global air cargo volume increased 8.9% in December 2021 compared to 2019 and up 6.9% in 2021 overall, the International Air Transport Association reported. “Air cargo had a stellar year in 2021,” providing “a vital source of revenue” for airlines, IATA Director General Willie Walsh said.
