Redevelopment plan announced for Ga. mall includes hotel

The 77-acre site that is currently home to North DeKalb Mall in metro Atlanta is set to get a major transformation into a large-scale mixed-use development by its owner, real estate developer Edens. The project is expected to be completed by 2028 and will include a hotel, residential units, office space and 300,000 square feet of retail space.
