Psngr1 Establishes Connections with Seven Carriers

Share

Travel booking and management platform Psngr1 has announced direct-connect partnerships with seven airlines: Air Canada, American Airlines, British Airways, Copa Airlines, Emirates Southwest Airlines and United Airlines.

The agreements, which Psngr1 said “have been taking shape for years,” enable the airlines to provide content directly to Psngr1’s agency and corporate travel manager partners, including New Distribution Capability content. Psngr1 displays the content in its next-generation storefront in which users can compare costs and flight details, including seat styles, Wi-Fi availability, ticket refund policies and beverage offerings.

Additionally, the airlines can make tailored pricing and amenity offers to individual travelers, based on their anonymized profile.

Psngr1, which won the People’s Choice award at BTN’s Innovate conference last year, also features a collaborative TripBoards tool for users and their colleagues to customize trips. The company said it is working to establish more direct connections across the travel supply chain, including with hotels and car rental companies.
