SAF producers urge tax credit change

Biofuel producers are asking Congress to change accounting procedures for a proposed energy tax credit to better fit the production cycle for sustainable aviation fuel and encourage its manufacture and use. The producers argue that a current proposal offered in legislation would disqualify a share of SAF from benefiting from the tax credit.
