American Queen Voyages, part of the Hornblower Group, has unveiled its most comprehensive cruise atlas in the line’s 10-year history. Encompassing the 2022-2024 seasons, the 156-page guide is the definitive resource for travel partners and consumers seeking extraordinary Rivers, Lakes & Oceans and Expedition experiences. The atlas illustrates the Discovery Runs Deep message from cover to cover with stunning imagery and descriptive narratives highlighting the American Queen Voyages all-inclusive experience over three years, across the eight-vessel fleet and shore excursions in over 120 North American ports.

“The new Atlas is another milestone achievement as we continue to introduce the American Queen Voyages brand, comprehensively encouraging a deeper discovery of North America one page at a time,” explained Kari Tarnowski, senior vice president of marketing and sales, American Queen Voyages. “Inspired by the beauty of Rivers, Lakes & Oceans and Expedition experiences with the boldness of our new design, the comprehensive catalogue will help travelers learn about our experiences and travel advisors sell to clients.”

The 2022-2024 Atlas cover features the diversity of American Queen Voyages’ destinations with Lakes & Oceans port of Savannah, GA., Expedition destination Ketchikan, AK. and Rivers favorite Louisville, KY. Numbers illustrate waterway and destination locations including mile markers and geographic coordinates.

The design continues the deconstructed paddlewheel theme across its pages, which reflects individual paddles or bucket boards as they are called on the river, establishing a pattern representing movement. This graphic was first established with an algorithm measuring the distance traveled and varying nautical speeds on any given vessel. The Atlas features a QR code connecting to a high-energy video explaining the concept further.

“Discovery Runs Deep and exploring North America continues to resonate,” said Shawn Bierdz, chief operating officer, American Queen Voyages. “As we celebrate our company’s 10th anniversary and prepare our largest vessel deployment in history, this new atlas will equip travelers and advisors with a visually-rich resource to plan experiences with American Queen Voyages through 2024.”

Beyond the overview introduction to American Queen Voyages, the new atlas also provides details on suites and staterooms, entertainment and enrichment, previews the new Club AQV loyalty program and provides ongoing SafeCruise health and safety protocol details and more.
