Romania’s Rom Cargo Airlines plans US flights
Rom Cargo Airlines (NJ) is planning to expand its network to the United States, an application to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for a foreign air carrier permit and exemption authority has revealed.
The Romanian cargo carrier said only that it would operate scheduled and/or chartered flights from the European Union to the US and beyond. No potential routes or contracts were revealed.
Founded in 2021, Rom Cargo operates a single B747-400(BCF) on flights that currently connect Hong Kong Int’l with Liège using Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan as a stopover. No further details concerning the airline’s ownership were revealed.
