Southwest exec: Mo. Airport improvements a “big win”

Renovations at the Kansas City airport in Missouri will offer a “better environment for travel” and make Southwest’s operations more efficient, said Southwest Airlines President Mike Van de Ven. “We’ll be clustered there, it’ll allow us to be very efficient, it’ll allow us to connect passengers more easily in there and it will give us opportunities to add more activity,” he said.
