Chinese-funded Hollywood hotel projects under fire

Developers of three luxury hotels in Hollywood, Calif., that are backed by Chinese investors are under scrutiny by Congress members and a labor union for allegedly misusing a federal program that grants visas to creators of US jobs. Relevant Group, which brought the Dream Hollywood, Thompson Hollywood and Tommie Hollywood hotels to a distressed neighborhood, disputes union claims that it fell short of adequate hiring.
