NYC hotels take COVID-linked insurance claims to court

Three New York City hotels have sued their insurers, maintaining that their policies covered the massive losses suffered because of the pandemic. Owners of the Life, Pearl and Belvedere hotels hope the business-interruption clauses in their policies will bring them better luck than restaurants and retailers generally have had with COVID-19 related claims.
