American resumes program to acclimate autistic passengers

American Airlines is bringing back a program, on hiatus for two years, that offers dry runs taxiing at the airport in aircraft to help people with varying needs acclimate themselves to air travel. “It’s targeting kids with autism, but we don’t turn anyone away,” said Bruce Sickler, who runs the program.
