S. Korea says N. Korea is razing hotel that eased relations

The South Korean government has condemned its North Korean counterpart for what the former says is the demolition of a floating resort hotel that symbolizes now-dormant rapprochement efforts between the countries in the 1990s. The Haegumgang Hotel is one of many South Korea built at the North’s Diamond Mountain resort to accommodate South Korean tourists.
