Major hoteliers weigh status of 3rd-party hotels in Russia

Marriott International, Inc. and IHG Hotels & Resorts say they are assessing their agreements with third-party operators of their hotels in Russia in light of the invasion of Ukraine, while they’ve halted future development and investments. The chains have joined other hotel companies in relief efforts for Ukraine but point to the complexities involved in closing hotels in Russia.
