CDC alters rankings, no countries labeled “do not travel”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has altered its system for evaluating and communicating risks associated with COVID-19, and no countries are now listed in the riskiest category, which means CDC recommends Americans avoid traveling to the specified country. The number of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people over a 28-day period is the most important metric in the agency’s analysis.
