Washington Dulles plans for new concourse in 2026

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is reviewing plans for a new, 14-gate concourse at Dulles International Airport that could open as soon as 2026. The airport authority will seek federal grants to pay for the estimated $674.7 million project but can also tap the proceeds from land sales to offset costs of the project.
