Posh ski resorts see Russian patronage melt away

Wealthy Russians who’ve commonly frequented Alpine ski resorts charging as much as $250,000 per week have been conspicuous for their absence of late, operators note. “Clearly, even those Russians not directly affected by sanctions are being cautious and holding off from booking at this stage,” says Tim Latimer, founder of the luxury Firefly Collection.
