United kicks off expansion with flight to Jordan

United Airlines kicked off its international route expansion on May 5 with its first flight to Amman, Jordan, the first of five new international destinations. “This is something that we’ve been working on for two years” and did not change course even as “there were a lot of pundits out there saying that international travel was going away” during the pandemic, said Patrick Quayle, United’s head of international network planning.
