IHG hails revenue, occupancy stats as demand swells

Holiday Inn owner IHG Hotels & Resorts says surging demand across nearly all its locations worldwide fueled a 61% increase in revenue over 2021 in the first quarter as well as a rise in occupancy. The company also cited 15% year-over-year growth in its development pipeline with the addition of 17,000 room signings.
