Want to join Embraer? 1,000 job vacancies have opened up
Aircraft manufacturer, Embraer, has announced the opening of 1,000 job vacancies in Brazil. The roles have a focus on the recovery of Embraer’s production rate, growth in services and support, product development and new business.
This announcement follows recent estimates by Embraer that this year will see the volume of aircraft deliveries increase by between 15% and 25% compared to 2021. Embraer expects the recovery of the company’s full potential to continue over the coming years, in line with reports presented by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
“These hires materialise the strategic plan that includes the resumption of aviation growth and all investments in technology, innovation and new businesses at Embraer. We are very excited about the market prospects that generate career opportunities in several areas of the company,” said Carlos Alberto Griner, Embraer’s VP of people, ESG and communication. “Alongside the talents of traditional educational programmes that meet the needs of accelerated qualification and natural replacement of professionals, the new employees will contribute to our efforts to have a more agile and competitive company in an increasingly flexible and diverse work environment.”
Embraer responded to the Covid-19 crisis over the past two years by safeguarding the organisation’s sustainability and engineering capacity in the face of challenges created by both the global economy and the cancellation of the company’s partnership with Boeing. In order to remain competitive and to overcome the crisis in the sector, Embraer drew up and executed a strategic plan that enabled the company to recover and resume a new growth cycle, including rehiring for operations.
The hiring considers a more diverse outlook, valuing individuality and ESG commitments, and with roles that reflect the new workplace trends, including permanently remote vacancies and hybrid models. Embraer believes that this more flexible working environment, which matches employees’ interests while strengthening the culture of innovation and knowledge generation, will make Embraer increasingly attractive to talents who aspire to work in the aerospace sector.
At the end of 2021, the Embraer Group had around 18,000 employees. If you would like to join the team, the Embraer recruitment page hosts applications and details about all career opportunities in the sectors of operations, engineering and administration, among others.
