Aeronology Integrates Amadeus Content into Booking Platform

Travel technology supplier Aeronology has partnered with Amadeus to provide its global distribution system content for Aeronology’s booking platform, Aeronology announced. The platform is a “middleware” tool meant to offer an experience between a corporate booking tool and working in the native GDS, offering a simpler interface than the GDS but more servicing capabilities than a booking tool, according to Aeronology CEO Russell Carstensen. The target audience for the platform is travel arrangers and bookers, and Carstensen said some of Aeronology’s travel management company clients plan to give their customers direct access to the platform to do their own bookings.
