Universal Studios Singapore building new Minion Land

Construction began Thursday on the new Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore. Set to debut in 2024, the “Despicable Me”-themed land will be home to several rides and attractions including a motion-simulator 3D ride called “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.” The project forms part of Genting Singapore’s $4.5 billion expansion of Resorts World Sentosa, which also includes refurbishment of the resort’s three hotels and rebranding of the SEA Aquarium as the Singapore Oceanarium.
