Airlines push White House to end pre-departure testing

White House officials met May 31 with representatives from Airlines for America and the US Travel Association, who urged the Biden administration to drop COVID-19 testing requirements for vaccinated international travelers. “Quite frankly, the only impact the pre-departure testing requirement is having is a chilling effect on an already fragile economy here in the US,” Airlines for America CEO Nick Calio said.
