Local firm buys storied Fort Worth, Texas, hotel

Stockyards Heritage Development Co., owner of the Hotel Drover and the new Mule Alley shopping complex in Fort Worth, Texas, has purchased the historic Stockyards Hotel in the city for an undisclosed price. The 115-year-old hotel, once a hideout for bank robbers Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, served many years in a central role in the packinghouse and cattle market district.
