Delta celebrates completion of LaGuardia terminal in NYC

After six years of work and $8 billion, New York City’s LaGuardia airport has been upgraded and redeveloped and Delta Air Lines is celebrating the imminent opening of Terminal C, with four concourses, 37 gates and a centralized check-in area that will serve Terminals C and D. “This is a homecoming for you, too,” Delta CEO Ed Bastian said to the airline’s 10,000 New York area employees at a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 1.
