VICI Properties CEO discusses impact of S&P 500 inclusion

The inclusion of hotel and casino specialist VICI Properties in the S&P 500 is the “latest chapter in the institutionalization story” of the REIT in the years since the initial public offering, says CEO Edward Pitoniak, and it will give the REIT “even greater access to capital.” Pitoniak also notes that the REIT’s holdings on the Las Vegas Strip position it very well, saying that the area is “the most economically productive street in America, in the world in fact.”
