New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport will begin the largest component of its massive renovation program this summer: the $9.5 billion Terminal One will be the airport’s largest terminal when it opens in three phases between 2026 and 2030. The terminal is part of a three-tiered $18 billion reconstruction of the city’s international airport. Terminal 6 is also scheduled to begin construction this year, while expansion of Terminal 4 and Terminal 8 is underway.
