Texas firm acquires 90% share of Miami hotel for $89M

A company based in Austin, Texas, has paid $89 million for a 90% interest in the dual-branded AC Hotel by Marriott & Element Miami Brickell. Summit Hotel Properties will have the opportunity in 2026 to buy the remaining 10% of the 17-story building, which was completed last year by seller Robert Finvarb Companies.
