American offers new business-oriented fare

American Airlines is offering a new, refundable “Main Select” fare in markets with many business travelers who might have used its Shuttle product, featuring priority check-in, free same-day flight changes and complimentary access to extra-legroom economy seats. The new fare will be available on select flights between Washington, D.C.’s Reagan National Airport and Boston or New York; between Los Angeles and New York and from Chicago to Dallas or New York.
