US airlines encourage SCOTUS review of Calif. meal & rest break case

The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to decide within days if it will hear an airline appeal on whether the Federal Aviation Administration or individual states have jurisdiction over flight attendants working in federal air space. “At stake is whether carriers are subject to local labor laws or can instead follow federal aviation rules that are more focused on passenger safety than working conditions,” reported Bloomberg.
