Airport screenings set post-pandemic record

The Transportation Security Administration screened more than 2.46 million people at airport security checkpoints June 26, for the highest single-day total since February 2020. More than 2 million passengers were screened on all but two days in June, and even higher numbers are expected over the July Fourth weekend.
