FAA awards $1B in infrastructure grants to 85 airports

The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded almost $1 billion in funding from the 2021 infrastructure bill to 85 airports to upgrade terminals, baggage screening and air traffic control towers. The infrastructure law authorized giving $1 billion annually over the next five years to improve airports.
