Report: Air shippers enjoy lower rates as volume drops

Air cargo volumes worldwide continued their decline with an 8% year-over-year drop in June, driving down costs for shippers, while the general airfreight market saw volume fall by 7% from 2019, according to Clive Data Services. Clive co-founder Niall van de Wouw says carriers may shift freighters to different markets to bolster revenues.
