Resorts World tunnel hailed as winner

The much-doubted $47 million tunnel between Resorts World and the Las Vegas Convention Center appears to be a success, with about 700,000 passengers having been shuttled across in 18 months via Tesla vehicles. The venture by Tesla founder Elon Musk’s Boring Co., paid for by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, represents the first of 55 planned depots for tunnels along the Las Vegas Strip and beyond.
