Boeing to build SAF-focused aviation R&D center

Boeing, which plans to use only sustainable aviation fuel by 2030, says it will build a research and development facility in Japan that will develop SAF as well as aircraft engines powered by electricity and hydrogen. The facility also will work on projects in robotics, automation and composite materials for the aviation industry.
