Developer grounds Atlanta airport hotel venture

A hotel project for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport that once was scheduled for completion in 2020 has been canceled by the developer, a city official said. Lack of progress and financing have beset the project, once touted by airport leaders as a source of $600 million in private investment.
