Calif. airport moves forward with $120M expansion

The Fresno City Council awarded a contract to begin the first phase of the terminal expansion planned for Fresno Yosemite International Airport in Fresno, Calif., which will upgrade the airport to accommodate larger commercial aircraft. The $120 million project, which is financed by passenger taxes, bonds, and federal and local funding, is estimated to be open to the public in December 2024.
